The word Reiki in Japanese is made up of two words or "Kanji" called Rei and Ki.
Rei can be translates as Spirit, Divine or Source and Ki stands for Universal Energy, Life Force or simply Energy.
Together, the word Reiki can best be translated as "Spiritual Energy, Divine Energy, or simply Universal Energy".
The system of Reiki was founded by Mikao Usui , born in Samurai family, central Japan.
Reiki is passed on by the Reiki master to the student by means of attunements. In this process Reiki master brings a student into their own energy field and "shares" the experience of Reiki. As a result the student subconsciously realises that they can make this connection themselves and may practice daily in order to nurture and enhance this connection.

I offer individual and group attunements to any of the three Reiki degrees.

Reiki Level 1 (First degree-Shoden)
The first degree Reiki Attunement can be a powerful life changing experience, setting in motion a process of growth and transformation on all levels - Physical,Emotional, Mental and Spiritual. This course will give an introduction to the history and theory of Reiki and other practical exercises and meditations. At the end of this course, students will become attuned to the Reiki energy in order to take charge of their own healing process and will also be opened to channel Reiki energy for others and hence able to treat family and friends, even pets and animals, plants or situations, as well as using it for themselves for healing and personal development.

2. 4 Attuements to start the flow of Reiki energy
3. The 21 day clearing process
4. How to start self-healing and bring Reiki in daily life (practice and more practice)

Reiki Level 2 (Second degree-Okuden)
The second degree Reiki Attunement will deepen student's connection with the Reiki Energy. It gives access to the three Sacred Reiki Symbols and their corresponding Mantras which will greatly enchance the Reiki healing energy.
Student's can also use this sacred symbols in their personal development and take them further on their spiritual path.
On this course, students will learn how to raise their vibration with the help of the symbols and can send Distant Reiki to a person across Space and Time.
This level is the minimum requirements for professional practitioners.

Master Level Course (Shinpedin)
In my Lineage, the third degree is a combined Master & Teacher degree, which gives not only access to the Master symbol but also enables the initiate to give attunements to others and teach.
A Reiki Master course does not necessarily make you a Reiki Master straight away, but it gives you all the tools to grow and become one. This teaching is for those who wish to take their personal journey with Reiki to a deeper level.

The old saying, we are what we eat, is true. Every cell in our body was created from the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. In addition to nourishing our bodies, food also affects the quality of our lives, our appearance, moods, weight, energy, the aging process and our overall health and well-being.

Reiki can be used to raise the vibration of your food, whether you are able to buy organic or must eat conventionally grown food. Just as Reiki recharges and balances the life-force energy within us, it does the same to our food and drinks.
In one hour session, I attune my client to Reiki and teach them how to do self-healing and give Reiki to their food. The Client can take away from this session is an ability to raise their vibration and keep their body free from toxins.
